Cancellation Before 24 hrs- INR 300/- flat charge
Within 24 hrs to before 4 hrs of booking start time- INR 300 or 10 % of base fare (whichever is greater, up to a maximum of INR 5000) will be charged, rest will be refunded.
After 4 hrs to 0 hrs- INR 500 or 15% of base fare (whichever is greater, up to a maximum of INR 5000) plus delivery charges (in case of door delivery)
After start time- INR 750 or 20 % of base fare (whichever is greater, up to a maximum of INR 7500) plus delivery charges (incase of door delivery).
Modification-before start- only postponement of booking start time allowed Before 24 hrs- INR 200/- flat charge
Within 24 hrs to before 4 hrs of booking start time- INR 200 or 50% of base fare of reschedule days (whichever is greater, up to a maximum of INR 3000)
After 4 hrs to 0 hrs, no rescheduling will be allowed.
Door Step Delivery charges INR 500
Shortening the trip- post start Is Allowed, But No Refund
Extension of trip- post start INR 200 charge for extension trip plus normal hourly charge - subject to availability (get confirmation before 4 hours of trip end time).
Late fee First 30 mins is free, after that INR 400 per hour.
These charges would be in addition to the hourly fee for use of the vehicle.
Vehicle returned to wrong location-instead of original delivery location Currently facilities are not available,Request to ensure to return the vehicle at original delivery location

No show (hub pickup) In case the user does not show up for 4 hours from the start time, booking will be cancelled by Vroom and no refund will be made

Interstate trip Members are responsible for paying all tolls during the trip.
Vroom Drive vehicles are registered with an All India Permit, allowing it to enter any state of India.
All Vroom Drive vehicles contain Original Documents of RC card, Insurance, All India Permit, Self Drive License. Pls, stop the vehicle at the border RTO check post to obtain Valid State Entry Permit by paying relevant charges.
Members must pay all inter-state taxes and fees upon entering a neighbouring state. Vroom Drive does not reimburse these charges.
If a customer plans to go Andhra Pradesh/ Kerala, then he should inform our Customer Care to allocate the vehicle which has a valid permit.
Only For the state of Andhra Pradesh and Kerala, Vroom Drive will charge flat INR 400 for existing vehicles which have the State entry permit. In case of non-available of existing Andhra Pradesh / Kerala State entry permit vehicles, then Member must pay the fee and obtain one-year State entry permit. Vroom Drive will reimburse balance amount after deduction of INR 400 (flat charges of state entry permit) provided with original permit copy while the end of the trip.
Vroom Drive will not reimburse quarterly entry permit of Kerala.
Peak Seasons. Listed dates attract peak season tariffs on account of extremely high demand.

Payments owed by members will be deducted from the security deposit. If the security deposit does not cover such payments, the balance must be paid by the member electronically.

*Please note there are four cases where there will be exceptions:

  • In the event the member is found to be under the influence of alcohol during a booking, the member will be held liable for 100% of the vehicle damage bill as per the invoice received from the vehicle workshop.
  • The member will be liable for 100% of the entire vehicle damage bill in the event that the vehicle workshop and/or insurance company deem the damage to be consequential in nature (this will be clearly stated in the accident report). Consequential damage occurs when the member continues driving even after an external vehicle impact, thereby severely undermining the condition of the vehicle.
  • In the event a non-vroom drive member is found to be the one driving at the time of accident, then the member will be held liable for 100% of the vehicle damage bill as per the invoice received from the workshop.
  • Vehicles are not allowed for Leh or Ladakh districts in Jammu & Kashmir.
